The long awaited moment is approaching in the whole country, including Gujarat.  PM Modi's Dream Project The Girnar Ropeway is going to be inaugurated tomorrow (October 24, 2020).  E-launch will be done by Prime Minister Modi.  The Girnar Rope-Way will be unveiled tomorrow and the Girnar CDO will be a history.
The Jain deras and the temples of the Lord on the Girnar mountain are the center of faith.  The most difficult question then was how to climb this Girnar.  Then Rajvi Kumarapala of Solanki Raj of Gujarat made the first steps on this mountain.  Vikram Samvant was renovated in 1683 by Sanghji Meghji of Diu.  It was planned in the time of Nawab Rasul Khanji to rebuild these steps as they became dilapidated over time.  But he did not know where to get all this money.
To meet these costs, officials at the Nawab's court first planned to hold lotteries across India.  According to this plan a committee of 11 persons was formed and a complete plan of Girnar lottery was worked out.  And advertisements were also given for it.  People of all races took this lottery.  And the first prize of the lottery was won by a woman from Mumbai and in 1908 these were made of black stone on Girnar mountain.
