Want to use 5G on your smartphone? Airtel, Jio, Vi users follow these easy way

5G service has been launched by PM Modi across the country. 

You can not use the new service only if you have a 5G phone. 

Airtel, Jio and Vi users will have to follow some way to run 5G in the phone. 

 

New Delhi. 5G service has been launched across the country on 1 October. Airtel has started 5G service in 8 major metropolises of the country from history. This includes Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Siliguri and Kolkata. Other companies are also ready to offer 5G service in the coming days. Some users are buying 5G phones to do 5G experience and some users formerly have 5G supported bias. 

It's worth noting that at present, you can not use this service only if you have a 5G phone. For this you have to follow some way. Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea( Vi) users will have to follow some way to run 5G in their phones. 

 

1- First of all, check with your driver whether 5G is available in your area or not. You can talk to the client care of Jio, Airtel or Vi to know the details. 

2- If the driver has 5G in your area, make sure that your phone has support for 5G bands, which are offered by Jio, Airtel or Vi. 

 

3- Now go to the settings of your 5G smartphone, also click on the mobile network option. 

4- You have to elect the driver for which you want to enable 5G connectivity.  

 

5- Click on either SIM 1 or SIM 2 and scroll down to get Preferred Network Type. 

6- Now elect the option from 5G/ 4G/ 4G/ 2G( bus). So that your smartphone can automatically descry the 5G network running in your area and make it the dereliction data connectivity option on your phone. 

 

7- You may have to modernize the software on your phone. So check the settings to know if there has been any update for any point related to 5G. 

8- Now renew your phone. If 5G is available in your circle/ area also it'll start working. 

 

Price not disclosed

The speed of 5G will be 10 times advanced than that of 4G, so it's believed that it'll bear further bandwidth. At present, the company has not made any advertisement regarding the price of the 5G plan. Hopefully the price will also be introduced soon.
