5G network launch in India, know what's the plan of Airtel, Jio, BSNL and Vi
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 5G in India at the sixth edition of India Mobile Congress( IMC). Reliance Jio and other telcos briefed Modi about the colorful uses of 5G and indeed handed some important details about its rollout. Airtel is the first company to offer 5G to druggies in India as the company’s President Sunil Mittal has blazoned that the 5G mobile service is being rolled out in select metropolises. Reliance Jio, BSNL and Vodafone Idea haven't yet made it available to the druggies.
When will Airtel, Jio, BSNL and Vodafone Idea roll out 5G in India?
- Indian Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has blazoned that further than 200 metropolises of India will get 5G installation in the coming 6 months.
- Airtel has formerly started 5G service in about 8 metropolises. The telecom company is aiming to make it available to all by March 2024. Reliance Jio, on the other hand, promises to bring 5G to every corner of India before Airtel.
- Reliance diligence Chairman Mukesh Ambani has blazoned that Jio 5G will reach everyone by December 2023. Which means it'll be done by the end of coming time. The telecom driver has rolled out Jio 5G in select metropolises, but it's limited to elect druggies. Jio 5G is available on an invite base and the company will shoot it to the druggies. The telecom will give druggies with pets of over to 1 Gbps.
- Vodafone Idea has just revealed that it's preparing to roll out 5G soon, but it has n’t handed an exact launch date.
- The government- possessed BSNL company is aiming to offer 5G to 80- 90 percent of India’s population in about 2 times. The IT minister also said that BSNL will give 5G service from August 15 coming time.
Which cities will get 5G service first
- Reliance Jio has verified that 5G will be first available in four metropolises including Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Varanasi by Diwali.
- Airtel is presently offering 5G in 8 metropolises videlicet Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, Bangalore, Gurugram, Chennai and many others.
- Vodafone Idea and BSNL haven't yet given information on this.
The Prime Minister also indicated by saying, “ before, the cost of 1 GB data was around Rs 300, now it has come around Rs 10 per GB. On an normal a person in India consumes 14 GB per month. It'll bring around Rs 4200 per month but the cost will be Rs 125- 150. This has happed only because of the sweats of the government.,
Ambani has blazoned that Jio 5G plans will be available at the smallest prices compared to any telecom company in the world.
