Matter of educating children online and at home
Corona Virus infection is spreading quite rapidly in some states. In view of the increasing number of patients of Kovid-19 in these states, the state governments have started to adopt strictness. Somewhere, Lockdown and Night Curfew have been announced. With this, in view of the corona transition, many state governments have decided to close school-colleges again, while many states have also changed the dates of board exams.
School-colleges will remain closed till 10 April in Punjab
It has been decided to keep schools and colleges closed in Punjab till April 10. Earlier, the Amarinder government had decided to close the schools and colleges till March 31, but now it has been extended by 10 days. State health officials say that by the middle of May, new cases are expected to decrease.
School-college closed in Himachal Pradesh till April 15
In view of the increasing number of patients, schools and all other educational institutions in Himachal Pradesh have been closed by April 15. Chief Minister Jairam Thakur has informed about this in Dhalpur during his visit to Kullu on Thursday. The Chief Minister said that earlier the schools were closed till April 4, but it has now been decided to close the schools, colleges and all other educational institutions due to increase in Corona cases.
School closed in Madhya Pradesh till 15 April
Shivraj Singh Chauhan government of Madhya Pradesh has decided to keep schools closed till 8th class till 15th April. Apart from this, classes from class 9th to 12th have started from April 1. However, parents' permission will be required for the offline class.
Rajasthan government also prohibited the opening of schools
The Rajasthan government decided to keep the schools up to the 5th till the next order. Apart from this, the government has announced 8th, 9th and 11th class examinations. However, a new order of the government is being awaited.
School-college closed in Chhattisgarh too
The government of Chhattisgarh has also announced closure of schools till further notice.
Schools also closed in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat
In Telangana, all educational institutions (schools, colleges, hostels, gurukuls) have been closed except for medical colleges.
In Tamil Nadu also the government has also ordered closure of schools for classes 9, 10 and 11 from March 22 until further orders.
The Gujarat government has decided to close schools located in eight municipal areas of the state till 10 April. This includes Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and the state capital Gandhinagar.
Students from 1st to 8th will pass without exams in Maharashtra
The Maharashtra government has decided to promote students from the first to the 8th grade without exams. A decision will also be taken soon regarding the students of class 9th and 11th.

Due to Corona in Punjab, the board exam dates were also changed. The board exams here were earlier to be held from 22 March to 9 April. But, now as per the new order, now the class 10th examinations will be held from May 4 to May 24 and class 12th examinations will be held between April 20 and May 24.
Rajasthan State Education Board has announced the exam dates for 8th, 9th and 11th class. In this, the examinations of 8th class are to be started from 06 May, 9th examination from 26th April and 11th class examinations will start from 24th April
